CRTWC Collaborates with the Residency Lab to Develop an Equitable Use, Whole-Human AI Framework for Educator Preparation

CRTWC has been invited to partner with the Residency Lab (an initiative of the Californians Dedicated to Education Foundation) to develop a new framework for teacher preparation that integrates a whole-human and equitable-use approach to AI integration in teaching and learning. CRTWC’s Anchor Competency Framework is serving as a launch point for this initiative along with the Residency Lab’s Values and Characteristics of Effective Residencies. The Residency Lab has convened a year-long Community of Practice of expert educators to support this endeavor. Through this collaboration, CRTWC is helping lead an important national conversation about ensuring AI supports equitable, humanizing teacher development while strengthening the relational and culturally responsive foundations of educator preparation.
