Claire Galloway (she/her) serves as a research associate for the Center for Reaching & Teaching the Whole Child. She earned her M.A. in the Community & Applied Developmental Psychology program at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and is currently a doctoral candidate working on her dissertation, exploring positive development and the assets to support youth in Colombia. Claire is the lab manager for Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl’s Social and Emotional Learning Research Group at UIC, where her research focuses on social and emotional learning interventions, measuring prosocial behavior, and supporting youth in school-based settings. Claire earned her B.A. in community psychology from DePaul University and interned at the nonprofit workforce development program, Salt & Light Coalition, serving survivors of human trafficking. After graduation, she hopes to continue working on and evaluating projects that aim to support students’ well-being.
