Biography

Lawrence Louis serves as the Strategic Growth & Communications Manager at CRTWC. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. From New York City, Lawrence was a middle school teacher teaching 8th grade English in Washington, DC public schools. After leaving the classroom, Lawrence worked at NYC community-based organizations where he systematized the delivery of academic-financial case management services to over 800+ college students.

Lawrence served as Managing Editor at the American Educational Research Journal (AERJ) – the flagship journal of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). He is also the Founding Director of Louis Creative Enterprises (LCE) – a learning design, research, and consulting firm.

Lawrence graduated from Michigan State University with a PhD in K-12 Educational Administration and a certification in Urban Education. During his doctoral journey, Lawrence was lucky enough to participate in CRTWC’s Teacher Educator Institute in 2020 and is a proud TEI alum.
