Biography

Samira Pingali is the Translational Science Principal at Hopelab, a social innovation lab and impact investment organization supporting youth mental health. Samira partners with researchers, innovators, and youth to bridge the gap between high potential ideas in behavioral and academic science and opportunities for meaningful action. She leads Hopelab’s seed grant program and cross-sector partnership efforts to support the unlock of new pathways in adolescent development and wellbeing.

Prior to Hopelab, Samira served as the Director of Behavioral Health at Community Health Center Network (CHCN), a managed services organization owned and operated by eight community clinics in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. At CHCN, Samira supported the expansion of integrated behavioral health services for the East Bay’s Medicaid population. Samira received her MPH from Columbia University where she specialized in research design and methodology.
